I’ve noticed lately that chatting online feels completely different compared to a few years back. I was texting someone I met on a dating platform, and half the time I couldn’t tell if the messages were from them or written with some AI help. It makes me curious — is this actually helping people connect better, or just making things more confusing? Honestly, I liked how easy it felt to keep the conversation flowing, but at the same time I wonder if it’s really authentic. Has anyone else run into this kind of situation?

Yeah, I get what you’re saying. I had a similar experience where the chat felt super smooth, like every reply was perfectly timed and thoughtful. Later I found out they were using tools to polish their responses. At first I thought it was fake, but honestly, it helped break the ice and avoid awkward pauses. I even checked out some resources like https://golove.ai/ to see how people are using AI in dating, and it’s surprising how it can boost confidence for those who usually struggle with texting. I wouldn’t say it replaces personality, but it can definitely help get conversations rolling until the real connection takes over.

What I’ve noticed in general is that conversations online are becoming faster paced and less stressful compared to years ago. Even people who usually struggle with words seem to find it easier to open up now. Sometimes you can see how messages flow with more consistency, and that can make chatting more enjoyable. Whether it’s with friends, new acquaintances, or just casual talks, there’s less pressure to always come up with the “perfect” thing to say on your own. That shift feels pretty big when looking back at how things used to be.
